On counter:
Small toaster oven

I am interested that you like the sou vide so much. I almost bought one recently but could not think of many uses for it, especially as I seldom eat meat. The other thing that put me off was that things take so long to cook in it and I am rather disorganised - i.e. I tend to start to think about what to have for dinner about half an hour before dinner time.
What do you use it for, are the results very good, and would it be of much use to someone who seldom eats meat?

I don't leave anything on the counter. Although, now that I live with a senior parent, I have made a coffee bar in the breakfast area for the keurig. Also, prior to this parent arrangement, I hadn't had a microwave in the house in over twenty years. She uses one but it's in the pantry so no-one has to look at the thing.0

On the counter:
Bread machine (hardly ever used)
Coffee maker
Coffee grinder
Toaster
Standing mixer
Rice cooker
In the cupboard:
George Foreman grill
4 quart slow cooker
6 quart slow cooker (vintage, still works like it should!)
The slow cookers get the most use out of everything.0 -
I love my appliances! But hardly have anything on the worktop because my kitchen in small. They're all stashed on top of my kitchen shelves and I have to climb up on a step to get them down.
Permanently on worktop:
-Kettle
-Digital scales
Used regularly:
-Toaster (kept on top of the fridge for easy access)
-3-tier electric steamer
-Food processor
-Non-stick electric griddle/plancha thing (getting more use lately as I realised I can use it to "fry" things like burgers or chicken breasts without adding oil).
Used very occasionally:
-Ice-cream maker
-Pierrade/raclette set
-Crepe grill
-Mini cake maker
-Slow cooker
Things I don't yet have and would like to acquire:
-Toastie/panini maker
-Hand blender for soups (it's a right mess tipping it into the food processor)
-Popcorn maker (I only sometimes get it right using a saucepan on the gas hob - other times it all gets burnt and goes in the bin, and it doesn't do the saucepans any good either)
I used to have a deep fryer for making my falafel but it just got too gross and I abandoned it in one of my moves.
I've never had a microwave and don't plan on getting one because they take up too much space for how much use it'd get. It would be useful for heating up leftovers but that's about it really.0 -

On the counter:
Keurig + french press
Toaster
Foreman grill
Under the counter:
Large blender
Knock-off Magic Bullet
Crock pot
Coffee grinder
The only other things I really want are a digital scale and an immersion blender (would make blending soups soon much easier).0 -
I just have my food scale and slow cooker out! Tiny counter, so need to keep my fun appliances (like my Magic Bullet blender, rice cooker, and food processor) in storage.0
