How long does it take to lose an inch if not much to lose?

Hello all. I'm a short girl (5 " 1) and I'm currently at a normal BMI but with high body fat. How long does it take to lose an inch off your triceps, hips and thighs if you don't have much weight to lose?

A mixture of Strength training and circuit training.0

No one will be able to answer that for you as there are so many variables from frame size to the specific exercise your doing. Looking at your stats you're tiny anyway so I'm really not sure your goals are really realistic. Maybe concentrate more on an overall look rather than random numbers that are in fact pretty meaningless. Find exercise that will give that look eat properly and you'll get there. Good luck0

It can so depend on your body type. Especially if you are a woman, you will find it more difficult to lose inches from your hips, lower stomach and thighs. Your body wants to hold on some fat there for fertility etc. But because you are short a little weight loss will go a long way I think. I have a fairly even fat distribution on my body so would take awhile to lose a whole inch anywhere. I think don't worry so much about the exact number just more about how you look especially because clothing sizes don't mean anything. And everyone has a different frame as well. Play it by ear I think.0

Yeah, the fat around my hips and thighs don't seem to budge. I'm a pear shape, so while I look fine on the top, my bottom is really bad. And as _Zardoz mentioned, I am at a healthy weight, but just because I may seem "small", it doesn't mean I look small. The fat on my thighs rub against each other all the time when I walk and wiggle so much.0
