Need peoples experience!

So, I went out last night, didn't eat much in the day but drank a fair bit of vodka during the night. Anyway I was dreading the scales this morning, I weighed and I have dropped 3lbs!? It takes me a whole month to do this normally! Is this correct? and how is it correct? Also, will I put it all back on when I weigh tomorrow?

How long has it been since you last weighed yourself?

I might be wrong here, but I'd say it's because alcohol dehydrates you so you'll have less water weight.

I weigh every day, so since yesterday 3lb loss. If it is because of dehydration, will I see it go back on tomorrow? I'm not sure whether to log it on my ticker....

I don't know, I've never weighed myself after a night out! I'd say 3lbs would be a lot to lose in one day though so you might put some back on.

You can change between ~3-5 pounds every day with water weight, TOM, etc. Alcohol dehydrates, you probably peed it out.

ETA: Due to the fluctuation some people benefit from weighing themselves weekly. Prevents freakouts from daily changes.

Don't sweat daily fluctuations. Just keep an eye on your weekly/monthly pattern/curve. You'll get a better picture.
