Which calorie burn should I log?

I have a pure sports hrm with a chest strap. When I went for a hour walk yesterday and it said I burned 681 calories. During the walk I would jog, skip, and run. My heart rate was over 160 quite often. Anyway is this accurate? I also carried my phone in my hand with s health on to track distance and speed and it said I only burned 387. I went with the hrm but what do you think.

I don't know but I think it's awesome that you were skipping.
I've been thinking about prancercise myself:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-50GjySwew

681 sounds too high. I'd probably go with somewhere in between the two..around 500 cals.
I know I can get 400 cal for walking at 4mph for an hour and if I ran for an hour, I'd get a little over 600 so for a combination of the two, I'd think 500 would be about right.0 -
I agree with MinnieInMaine! I guess HRM's are only so accurate but it's better than nothing though! A happy medium between the two seems like a great idea to me.0
