I think I don't know how to eat

Just a pot shot from the outside, but sleeping 7-8 hours and waking up feeling exhausted, and being overweight....how about sleep apena? Ask your doctor...some folks it is night and day in energy and alertness having their apnea treated.0

i don't really have anything to add, except you eat a lot of junk. not saying you need to eat clean or anything (i don't either) but you don't have a lot of nutrition in your diet. maybe try out some veggies or chicken instead of so much take out.
also, i'd like to know what this is: Thomas' - English Muffin - Whole Wheat - Jesuslovesyou from August 25th. my foods are not nearly that friendly
My guess is the user who input it (or updated it) added their username to it. I've read that others have done it in the past, so they can identify their foods easier. (I've noticed that foods I add or update don't have the asterisk, but sometimes when the database gets an overhaul, it wipes that out, and the entries have the asterisk again.)0 -
Post workout, a fat and a protein, such as some kind of meat and cheese, will help you continue to burn calories, repair your muscles from the workout faster and also helps to keep your blood sugar up, and takes longer to digest.
As other's have stated, perhaps your not getting a "good quality" of sleep. You can't rule out sleep apnea as a fat person's medical issue, as more often than not, it can be hereditary.
Low iron or zinc may be the issue too, have blood work done, you could be anemic and that causes lack of energy.
Try logging all your Carbs, proteins, fat, iron, sugar...etc. And especially, make sure you are getting sufficient fluids for the day. Not sodas....water. For every 1 soda you drink, you have to drink 1 8oz glass of water to replenish your body. Your body will go into starvation mode and you won't lose a pound, if it thinks it's not getting enough food for what you need.
Just a few thoughts. I cut out ALL breads, soda, white foods ( white rice, bread, pasta...etc) as they are very processed and cause bloating. I eat pretty clean, log all my food, fluids, and exercise, and cut my portions way down. I eat off a smaller plate/bowl, and set my eating utensil down between bites. It's alot of discipline and training yourself to do this.
Good luck0 -
Honestly, if you're eating and sleeping well and still feel exhausted and achy all the time, it's probably best to go visit your doctor just to make sure nothing's wrong.0

Although people always say "it doesn't matter what you eat, only how many calories you eat", that doesn't mean that eating "junk" food will result in you having enough energy throughout the day.
I didn't look at your diary to much, but eating things that are high in protein and fat will help you to have sustained energy. Carbs usually give more immediate energy that doesn't last. Eating a well balanced diet is important when it comes to your overall health, which is what seems to be giving you trouble right now.
I personally think you are probably eating enough calories, but perhaps if you mix up your diet a little bit you can find a combination of macronutrients that will help you feel better during the day.0 -
I'm also betting that you lack sleep and that's a major contributor to fat loss since rest is when the body burns more fat than at any other time of the day.
Interesting! I've never heard this before! Can you give a little more info, or an article to read?
PS - As a Seahawks fan I am obliged to say Niners suck..
