So I've been debating weather or not to put myself at sedentary and eat back any exercise calories, or lightly active and not eat back my cals. My workouts are never consistent so I'm not sure what would be better. Thanks in advanced for your input.

It doesn't matter - either way MFP will give you a daily goal that has you at a deficit before exercise, so you could eat all your cals every day, do zero exercise and you'll lose. Or log exercise if you do it, and eat at least a good portion of those back - still in a deficit and still losing.0

Sedentary =tending to spend much time seated; somewhat inactive. As most people aren't going to fall into that category, I would start with lightly active and then you will add your exercise calories to earn extra.0

i leave mine on sedentary, log mty workouts and eat back part of my exercise calories.0

I manually enter my calorie allotment based on the Scobby Calculator. I don't like what MFP gives you for goals, plus I feel like they WAY over estimate on calories burnt and I don't have a HRM to really find out what I'm burning. I have a desk job so I sit 10 hours a day, 6 days a week, so I would considerate the sedentary!0

Yep, that's pretty sedentary. Sounds like you have a plan.0
