Is this a good deal?

£75 seems like a lot of money, though I'm wondering if it's worth it for the amount of meat provided considering I'm on a high protein diet and hitting strength training in order to lose weight a lot harder.

I've always heard that the best way to increase meat in the diet without it being SUPER expensive is to cook whole chickens, because they're cheapest per pound. You can stick one in a crockpot with a cut up onion and some seasonings and be good to go for a few days.
I have no idea about the deal... I would never fork over that amount of money for pre-packaged food. I'm too poor0 -
Probably not. We have these sort of "mail order" meat companies in the US, too. Very overpriced for what you get. We even have the occasional "meat truck", where door-to-door salesman try to sell you "Gourmet" meat out of the back of their unmarked vans. True story :noway: . A chicken breast or a cow is the same the world around (basically, you know?). I'm sure the supermarket sells at a much better price than that.0

I've checked groceries online, they're certainly cheaper than supermarket prices. The only thing that bugs is me that while a lot of their products come with nutritional information, some of them don't? I don't know whether it's worth just scoping around a few local butchers first. What I'm really after is chicken tits and extra lean beef mince, I just don't want to miss out on a deal if it's any good!0

I personally wouldn't trust meat I could order online...yuck.
I've found that buying in bulk is the best way to go. I can generally get 4lbs+ of chicken for $1.99/lb that way, hamburger for $2.99/lb, and even steak for rock bottom prices. I just freeze what I won't use right away.0
