... are the BEST! I'm no apple connoisseur, but honestly, how have I never tried one before? You pay about $1.50-$2.00 more, but it is well worth it (in my opinion). I am super motivated to expand my taste palate even further!! Any other healthy alternatives out there? I am sick of the dull flavorless snacks I always eat.

forgot-
um.
eggs- I eat a lot of hardboiled eggs.
Green pepper- raw
tomato- raw
I slice them up at work and nosh on them.
Utz pretzels- 5 are 100 calories- I really like sucking the salt off of them.
Popcorn- it's part of my dinner usually.
otherwise it's just regular food (read- left overs)0 -
Those are delicious!:drinker:
I also love Braeburns and Zestar.
Zestar are a new variety. The people that came up with Honey Crisp Apple invented the Zestar. They are awesome too if you see them out anywhere, I highly recommend them. My other job is working the family farmstand so I'm in the "fruit loop".
While apples are in season, I have like two a day.
Oh yeah for snacks, if you happen to be low carb, check out Pork Clouds. 100 calories and amazingly good.0 -

Yup! Both are juicy so be prepared to make lots of slurping noises to annoy your cubicle neighbors. hehe
I just tried Jazz apples this year and they've become my 4th favorite (after Macs)
My other favorite fruits are bananas and nectarines and both must be as far from ripe as possible when I buy them. Once bananas get even slightly brown, they start emitting a smell that turns my stomach so I have to give them away (won't toss in the trash unless there's no other option). And yes I know you can use ripe bananas to make other stuff but I'm not a baker and frankly don't care for them mixed into anything but oatmeal. I'm not picky, I'm just particular.
The nectarines have a nice tartness and are easier to eat when they're tough/less ripe.
Other snacks:
greek yogurt
cocoa or cinnamon roast almonds
protein and snack bars
sometimes oatmeal
100 cal snack bags of light butter popcorn0 -
