How do you add recipes?

I was trying to add a recipe but the options for the ingredients dont fit with the data base. I wanted to use 1/2 cup brown sugar but my only options were 1 tsp and 1 pkg. I have no idea how many tsp are in 1/2 cup. Not very helpful if you ask me.

I use this measurement converter for adding recipe amounts

Ok thanks for the link but I dont understand what they want you to put in the blank. 1 tsp to 1/2 cup0

In the blank at the top, you put the number (.5, 1, 10 or whatever) of what your measurement is. So in your case you'd put .5 (for 1/2 cup). Then choose the measurement you have (cup) on the left, and the measurement you want to "input" into that the first measurement on the right.
So in this case, it's 0.5 cup [US] = 24 Teaspoon [US]0 -
Thanks very much!! :flowerforyou:0
