High carb low fiber foods are the least satisfying to me.
So if I eat a bagel or a cupcake, an hour later I want more food.
But if I have oatmeal or wheat toast with peanut butter, I'm good for a few hours.
A small piece of chocolate won't be that satisfying but it shouldn't make you hungrier.
It is NOT bad to eat a piece of chocolate every day, as long as it fits into your calorie budget.
Many people have success staying fuller longer with higher fat, protein, or fiber foods.
Try eating more of those and see how it makes you feel.0 -

Apples. I don't know why. If I eat an apple, about a half hour afterwards I'll feel hungrier than I was before.0

Diet soda, so I skip it0

Non-complex carbs don't keep me satisfied.
Sugary snacks don't keep me satisfied.
If I eat cheese doodles I want more. Don't get me wrong, I will eat cheese doodles if they are available, I just won't buy the big giant bag.
I can eat two bagels or three if prompted. Haven't done that in a while, but that's how much I love bagels. I mean GOOD bagels, not rolls with holes in them. That's not a bagel, man!
Those protein bars are pretty good for keeping me satisfied. Snickers DOES NOT satisfy (but they're damn good, right?)0 -
Pringles, twizzlers, gelato0

If I have more than 50g of carbs at one sitting it seems to spike my blood glucose, causing an insulin spike, thereby causing a blood glucose dip a few hours later. The subsequent low blood glucose makes me ravenous and causes renewed carb cravings. If I have more carbs at this point, it sends my blood sugar yoyo-ing all day, with periods of being ravenous during the dips. My appetite is definitely easier to manage if I don't have too many carbs all at once.
If you want to have sweet treats, try holding off until late in the day so you are less bothered by the yoyo effect.0 -
definitely if i eat chips or salty things/potatoes. also cookies or breads. or cereal! i think sugar/high carbs play a role here. maybe taste too0

Any high carb foods without a good balance of protein.0
-
Protein + veggies = satisfying
Monomeal of fruit (except apples) = satisfying
Fruit + anything else = makes digestion incredibly uncomfortable
Grains + dairy = trouble waiting to happen
Grains + veggies = okay0 -
fibrous and protein food= satisfy
Any simple carb food really= hunger
PS apples, I believe speed up the metabolism0 -

This, except that I'd add that really nothing makes me hungrier after eating it vs not eating anything. Some things are just really unsatisfying, as explained above.0
