No/Low Impact Cardio?

Help!!!

I was losing weight...but have stalled for a long while. Cleaning my diet back up, but need help with the workout part.

I *was* trying to run (C25K), and was doing zumba...but now I have an old injury flaring up and am unable to do either. I started New Rules for Women...but I'm not making any real progress there either (9 weeks ago my size 14 pants fit...now they're all way too small and I'm back being a fatty in 16s, and I've gained 4 pounds. Starving all the time so eating more...but clearly that doesn't work for me. I've got to do more cardio and stay around 1500.). I'm stronger (or I can push more weight...whatever that means), but at the moment I really don't care about that. I just want to be smaller and healthier.

So what are some low/no impact cardio things I can do besides the elliptical?

Thanks!

I can HIGHLY recommend the Fitness Blender program for beginners. It's a 4 week long 5- or 6-day a week program that they've got all set up for you in pdf format with links to the videos on YouTube that you should do each day, and they're all low- or no-impact. There's a blend of cardio, strength, yoga, and Pilates. Now every single video they have is free, but there is a charge for the program because they've done the work of setting it up for you for each day, plus a lot of great fitness and nutrition information. I found it to be very worth the money (and I have no affiliation except being a very satisfied customer/user).

PS: editing to add that I can see you aren't a beginner...I think it's kind of a misnomer because the program would also be great for a person of any fitness level who needed to scale back the intensity of their workouts to help with an injury, or who just wants to do low impact for a while.

Cycling. All types. City. Urban. Road. Gravel. Mountain Biking. Exercise bike. Trainer. Spin class.

Low impact, high cardio exercise. And if you ride outside - you get to see things. You can use it as active recovery on days after you have ridden really hard, and you can target different training zones to control your calorie burn. Want to burn 600 calories in a cycling workout? Piece of cake. Want to burn 1500 calories? Piece of cake. Want to burn 2700 calories? Go long and hard. Want to burn 3-5K calories? Ride for many hours on a weekend day.

The injury is in my leg/foot, so I can't put much weight or pressure on it. So unfortunately cycling is out of the question right now. Once it heals a bit I'll try the bikes at the gym.
