New to MFP!

I joined awhile back and just never used it to my advantage. Well here I am again and ready to be serious. Last weekend I cut 10 inches off my hair. I had someone take a pic from behind so I could see the length. All I will say is I apologize for any of you if you've ever been behind me.
So I'm done with that girl and ready for the new. I'm taking it slow. I've given up my sodas and I'm only semi-mean now. lol Just kidding!
Looking for friends who can help keep me motivated on days that I'm ready to cave. Those at home are just too little to provide that.

    Hi,

I just rejoined myself. I had to completely start over my journey. I have 100lbs to lose and it's not going to be easy but we can definitely encourage each other. Feel free to add me.

  • Hi

Best of luck . You"ll do great. I"ve lost 15lbs but i still have 57lbs to go. Seems miles off !!
  • Hi! I am new as well. At 58 I have dieted all my life, this time I am not dieting I am making a choice to give up the crap that is making me sick. What will be different this time is the logging - and the support of family and new folks of MFP.

I completely understand the first day...second day... withdrawals. You hang in there, with each pound and inch it will be worth it.

Thank you! I just spent 10 minutes talking myself out of the coke at the checkout. Those things are going to make me or break me!

Hi, I have been on MFP since Feb of 2013. I started my weight loss journey in march of 2012. I had lost a total of 138 lbs but got sick and having been fighting my way back up to where I was. Any of you feel free to send me a friend request.
  • Hi, I recently started MFP. I'm still trying to learn to navigate my way through the website. I have lost 1 lb so far but only after I realized I accidentally clicked something wrong on the goals section of getting started. lol. My bad. Oh well. I look forward to a healthier me and getting to know some of you who are on the same journey. :)

Welcome :). I'm pretty new to this too but I'm finding it more useful than quitting everything cold turkey (my usual approach), losing weight too quickly, and gaining it back months later. Good luck to everyone!
  • take it slow and good luck..
