Full but within calorie allowance.

I had nearly 1100 calories left for dinner and pretty much ate all of them. It came to 978. I left so full though that I had to rerun numbers and I'm still like there's no way. I haven't been full of food in weeks. I've been eating till satisfied.
If this doesn't happen to other people I will really question my counting. Lol

Did you drink a lot of liquid with your meal? Water can fill you up.0

Depends on what your eating the days I go for finger foods and leafy greens that happens frequently, and then today I wanted that burger and shake. :indifferent:0

Been there, done that.
Matter of fact, I did it the other day at a cookout. I saved 1100 calories for the party and then I ate to my heart's content... Ok, well, my stomach's content. I felt so full and so happy afterwards. When I logged I thought I had done a LOT more damage than I had done. And I felt full for HOURS after.
Isn't it a nice feeing?0 -

I had a salad with light ranch dressing, a small burger wrapped in lettuce with all the fixings and a small chili topped with cheddar cheese and crackers. Lol0 -
I did drink it with a bottle of water with blueberry mio added to it.0

I can often feel quite full from a meal, especially if I've had only 3 meals instead of 4, meaning my last meal of the day is usually 1/3rd or twice bigger than normal.
And I'm assuming 1100 left was about 2/3rds of your day's calories left? maybe less?
Also eating until satisfied doesn't always work. I was hungry about 15 minutes ago until I took a sip of water, and then I wasn't hungry anymore. I was actually full. I've been dehydrated, so I'm mixing up my hunger and thirst signals. I could easily eat well above my maintenance sometimes if I ate until I was satisfied, even if eating filling foods. I am just very good at over-eating. Although yesterday I also almost had a hard time getting in all my day's cals (even getting in my normal deficit's worth, as I was eating at maintenance, was difficult) because I was just.. not that hungry.0 -
Been there, kinda weird when you feel like you're so full that you must of calculated wrong. I just recheck and move on.0

I love it when that happens! It never used to when I first started so it makes me feel like there's definite progress0
