my fat belly!

YO.

So I'm in pretty good shape (average): noting sagging and nothing flabby... except my belly.

How do I isolate this area in diet and exercise??

Thanks all!,
Ross

With a calorie deficit. You cannot spot reduce.

Do resistance training and stay in a caloric deficit. You can't spot reduce, unfortunately.

Just as you cannot decide to put on fat at certain places. You cannot get it off in any particular area. Keep having a caloric deficit and it will get off... patience is a virtue :)

Eat less calories than you are burning. Doesn't matter what food.

    ^ What they said.

You can work your core to increase the muscle underneath the fat, but that won't get rid of the fat. The only thing that will do that is a calorie deficit. Not a certain food, or a certain workout.
