Exercise Scheduling

I am planning my workouts on a Sunday-Thursday. My weighing day is going to be Friday. Should I also workout on my weighing day or just weigh myself.
What are your thoughts.

sunday-thurs? so potentially using friday and saturday as rest days? if yes, i would suggest maybe having one of them be an "active" rest day depending what your workouts are like on the other days.

Personally, I weigh every single day when I am trying to reduce, keeps me on track. Now that I am pretty close to my goal weight, I only do it periodically and use my clothes as a guide instead. As long as I fit into my small clothes, I am good :)

Sorry, I forgot to include Saturday as my rest day :)
  • I weigh everyday as well, just to make sure I'm staying on track, and out of habit. Unfortunately I rarely take rest days cause the guilt just kills me.

I weigh myself almost every day, but i don't think that weighing in would affect your working out. I don't see how that matters. I get up go to the bathroom and then get straight on the scale. Then I either work out, do homework or clean something.

As a side note, don't be afraid to reduce the number of days you are working out. I was going to the gym 5 days a week (or trying to) and it wasn't working. MWF lifted with TR being cardio. Now I just go MWF and hop in the pool for 20-30 mins after the lifting. Technically I'm getting an "extra" work out in because I'm now swimming 3x a week. On the off days I try to walk to work.

I hope you can achieve your goals.
