1200 calories?

I am working out daily for at least 1 hour in a health club "boot camp" style class. I am sweating like crazy and working hard! On the days I am not doing the boot camp I am doing spin and burning 600 calories according to tenementary monitor. I am also nursing my little one but he does not only rely on breast milk. I have not been eating 1200 more like 1400-1500 but I am not losing at all and this has been going on for over a month. Do I really need to bring down my calories to 1200?

Try keeping your carbohydrates to 50-100 grams a day and see if that helps.0

No. Don't drop your calories. If you are burning 600 calories a day working out, then you are probably eating too little. Try upping it to 1600-1800, especially if you are still nursing. BTW, when I nursed my kids I didn't lose weight easily. For some women fat melts off while breast feeding, for others it holds on for dear life no matter what you do! If you are like me, you may have to wait until your little one is completely done nursing to lose those extra pounds.0

You didn't mention how long it's been since you started this routine and calorie goal but, if it's under a month, give it some time. If, after a month you still see no change, try adjusting your calories down a little (maybe 1300 to1400) and try it for another month.

OP, if you aren't losing, you need to eat less and/or move more. Or maybe your period is due and you will drop a few pounds soon?

Keep patience, stick with the basic for at least ONE MONTH, put every things on your diary and analyze after one month (minimum)......0

I am pretty low carb, I am gluten free..... looks like I came in at 89 gm today0

Please don't lower your calories, you're still feeding a baby! Often when beginning an exercise program our body holds onto the water as our muscles repair, more so when our hormones are going crazy (yours would be as you're breastfeeding). Be patient and it will all come together. You should already be seeing changes to the body. Forget the scale for right now!0
