The Idiot Proof Diet

Is there anyone on here doing this diet? I got the book free with Cosmopolitan this month and want to give it a go as I'm finding I get real problems with carbohydrates these days and am interested to see how I feel when not eating them.
It also seems to be a fairly easy diet for someone who works full time and is rushing around after a family.
There is a forum on their own website but its all a bit frilly and girly for me so would love to use this one, although I'm guessing the food tracker wont work.
I'd love some tips or feedback from those who are doing it or have done it in the past.

Surely there must be more people on here doing this diet?
I've finished day two and feeling ok although I think I'm detoxing a bit today as I have a headache and feel a bit grotty. According to the book this is normal and I could have a bad day around day 5 too. Im assuming this is a ketosis thing? When I did Lighter Life again for a bit of purge I went into ketosis very quickly so I'm hoping that it might be a bit of that too.
I love that I can have a lot of normal food and not have to weigh anything or count calories. I sat through Sunday lunch today with everything but mash and yorkshire pud on my plate. I do miss my skimmed milk but being able to put a drop of double cream into my decaf coffee is better than having to drink it black.
So off to bed and looking forward to day 3.0 -
This sounds like the Atkins diet I was on several years ago. It worked great for losing weight, but I love to hike and found I kept running out of energy. For everyday living it was fine, it only happened when I really pushed my body.0

Most people here don't "do" a particular "diet", I'm afraid.0

Hi, I'm about to start the idiot proof diet. I'm starting Tuesday so the day five symptoms hit on my weekend off. Be good to hear how you're doing. I'm a slimming world member and a stone off target, just couldn't get back on track since Christmas, so looking forward to trying this one. I too am going to miss the milk in my coffee, along with all the sweet foods which I just love. Hope the idiot proof diet will banish my sweet tooth forever.0

Hey, I got that book from Cosmo as well. I know what you mean about their web-site- way too pink! I did the diet for a little while but have went off track again. It's been good though as I haven't been eating many carbs and have noticed I feel waaaaay less sluggish and have more energy. I'm just about to read the first part of the book again to remotivate me0
