Hi all!! I'm new-ish here lol! I have a little over a month til my husband and his band play at Biketober Fest in Daytona... Which means I have a little over a month to get comfortable in my body so I can walk the beach in a swimsuit and feel good!! I've started an intense workout regimen...I'm always looking for new things try to keep me from getting bored and giving up! I'm curious what others would do to get to this short term goal!?! I'm not looking to get to a certain weight by then...just to feel comfortable in my own skin;)

Good morning SugaBee! Great goal! What kind of workout are you doing? Do you enjoy it? Making it fun can decrease boredom. Wishing you the best, Jessica0

One month is a pretty short time to make any significant changes. What exactly will make you feel comfortable enough to wear a swimsuit? What kind of condition are you in now?

Which pic are you currently most like and what picture do you want to look like in a month?0 -
Thanks Jessica!! Right now I'm doing cardio boxing and core exercises! I do enjoy them...although they kick my *kitten*...I'm so winded after just a few mins. I enjoy doing Zumba or any dance for exercise... Its the most fun!! I also enjoy yoga... It helps your whole body inside and out!!0

Short term goals such as yours create frustration, unhappiness, and lead to abandoning the objectives that matter. To feel comfortable about yourself, you need to address your mental state first. Be happy with yourself, strive for improvement, acknowledge the small victories, and above all, be patient.0

Best way to feel awesome a month from now in the body you have is to go shopping and buy something that makes you feel awesome.
Almost nothing you do in a month will be visible to anyone else but maybe you or your husband.
Not to say you shouldn't keep working out- but just go buy something you love and makes you strut your stuff- it'll save you a lot of aggravation.0
