Hi everyone, sorry for the cheesy subject title but this time i'm gonna do it!
i have been on diets before but this is the first time i have ever done calorie counting, and amazingly, it works!
just after christmas i had a big shock on the scales, i had gone over twelve stone by 2 pounds. this was eventually going to happen the way i was eating, and more importantly drinking! but i just never assumed it would.
by going over 12 stone i was officially overweight which meant i just had to STOP EATING! and of course do more exercise, this is what ive been struggling with mostly this first month. i have bought all the gear and new trainers but i just cant seem to get myself out in the cold air of nottingham! (uk)
seeing as ive had this inital shock to lose weight i have deicided this will be my chance to lose weight and do it properly, i want to be the slim woman i could be if i lose some bad habits (buying reduced pastries every time i visit asda) and gain some good ones (running, :S)
anyway, ive lost 6 pounds so far but i just wanted to say hi and join the messageboards because ive already gone past the high motivation at the beginning and im stressed and lagging, so need some inspiration.

    I know what you mean- the holidays are great, but even with trying to eat carefully most of the time, the weight piles on. I want to be that slim healthy woman also- you're right we can do it if we put our minds to it!
