map my run

Hello all.
I know May My Run and apps of that sort tend to overestimate calories burned. Does it somehow account for hills? I just ran a very hilly route and my calories burned seemed way inflated.
Also... is there a way to link up map my run to the exercise log of MFP?
Sorry... not that tech savy!
Thanks.

Hi I have been using Map My Run for a while now and all you have to do is go into the apps section of the MFP, my fitness pal, and choose the apps that you have. Click on them and it should take you through the options of syncing them together. And yes again that app does account for the hills. It should have a GPS that tracks where you are. Hope this helps.

Just an experience - mmr gave me 663 burned cals for a power walk - HRM gives me 320
Mmr gives me 1250cal for a 9 km walk - hrm gave me 645cals
An app doesn't give you anything close to reality for burned calories.
If you compare the numbers above not even an educated guess.
