Recommendations for walking/outdoor excercise shoes

I just started trying to get in better shape last week after doing literally nothing for years. I walked 60km last week on a mountain near my house. To get there I walk once on cement but the hill is gravel and natural rock. Im not running yet because I dont want to injure myself. I walk at 6kmh and there are lots of inclines etc but it isnt rock climbing or anything. Today I developed lots of blisters on feet and figure ts time to retire nike running shoes. What shoes do you recommend? Price is not really really an issue... I was looking online at some new balance shoes but Im really not sure what would be best. Also does anyone have experience with more hiking style boot/shoes?

I go hiking and do trail runs quite often in my Nike Free 5.0's. Never had a problem with them and they are the best shoes for my type of foot. I would recommend going to a Runners World (or a similar shoe store) and asking them to help you choose the perfect fit for your feet so you don't risk any injuries.0
