Body shape?

I'm curious about what my body will possibly look like once I hit my goal weight. Is it possible to tell my body shape at my weight? I'm 5'1" and currently about 178lbs. Here's a pic I took this morning:

Thanks!

    I would guess hourglass.

Would you put your measurements in to something like this http://www.calculator.net/body-type-calculator.html and tell us the answer?

I put it into the website and my result was straight! :( A little bummed. but it's better then being overweight haha. Maybe I'll get lucky and the way I put on fat skews my body type? I don't think thats how it works lol but a girl can dream. :) Thanks for the link! I went to mybodygallery and all the girls who put their pics on for my height/weight were touting they were hourglass shaped but they were certainly not! Oh well, thanks for the link anyway, it will give me a little inspiration on goal weights. :)

    That website is so addictive!
It's really interesting to see women of different shapes and sizes, who are actually the same weight.

Most likely you will have a similar overall shape to what you have now, only smaller. Losing fat doesn't really change your whole body type. You can build muscle, lose fat, etc but your underlying shape and type are determined by your genetics. If there's something you're not fond of, use clothing to create a flattering image. For example if you have a rounded belly that ain't going anywhere, wear tunic tops that skim over it, and not things that press against it.

I wish there was a website where you could put in a bunch of your actual measurements and see an actual YOU on the screen, then adjust yourself to different weights.

I was looking at Model My Diet today and I'm just not sure that the cartoon person's body looks anything like mine.

Same here! It would be so much motivation to see something like this, even if it was just a rendered 3d model and generic face lol! It would be great to see the future.

I just went on that site and put in my weight now (130 lbs) and compared it to my weight at 120 lbs.
I look more like the 120 lbs image!
So as you say, it's not accurate at all. :/
