Dizzy Spells?

I've been having some odd dizzy spells lately-some are severe where it feels like the entire world is shifting, others its just a passing phase that feels wierd. Usually I am sitting down when they happen.
I'm eating enough that I'm not starving, so its nothing like that.

I have a dr. appt on Friday to check it out, but any idea what it could be?

Could possibly be an inner ear infection..they cause dizziness as well.

I hope you feel better soon!:flowerforyou:

Could be that you're eating enough, but not the right things. Too much sugar and then you have that crash (i'm having one now....hot sweats and light headed).

Could be a number of things. Good for you for making an appointment before it turned into something serious.

you might want to check your neck/spine alignment. If you've been exercising more, walking, jogging, elliptical, weights...anything, it could have thrown your spine/head out of alignment, which can cause dizziness, blurry vision, digestive problems, more severe cramps, and a number of other things. I had all of this about a year ago, and was very skeptical of going to see a chiropractor, but finally broke down and went. Come to find out i was totally out of alignment, and almost instantly after one adjustment i felt 200x better. I went back every week for about 2 months, and now I can tell when i'm out and I go back in and he puts me all back in place.

Might be something to check out if its not blood pressure or something wrong with your blood sugar or an infection!

    Inner ear infection.
Respiratory issue (not getting enough oxygen to the blood).
    Blood sugar issues.
Side effect of medication you might be on (dunno if you're on anything).

I had them too, the first two months of diet/exercise. It has passed. Keep tabs on the concern, and if it's still bothering you in a few weeks, see a doctor.

I get dizzy spells pretty frequently - my BP is usually very low (90/60) and my resting HR is around 55 - so when I sit or stand quickly - I see stars. If I don't eat frequently, my blood sugar crashes and I get dizzy - so I always have food with me in case I'm feeling shakey. My mom has the same thing - I just try to make sure I'm hydrated, fed, and don't rocket out of bed first thing in the morning (like I would anyways, lol).

Let us know what the doc says! I'm interested to find out as well.
