What works your core???

I am looking for different things to do to work on the stomach and lower back area any ideas or tips?????

  • One word: PiYo! I'm almost done the 60 day program and my core hasn't been in this condition ever! I highly recommend this program for anyone wanting to strengthen their core. Plus there is a nice mix of cardio and stretching too!

    This, for sure. Nothing works like heavy lifting.

    Also, when I do sit-ups, I use a weighted ball.

    Yep. All of this. I'd add in heavy bench press and pull ups. The only added core work I do are hanging leg raises.

    Kettlebells are great for the core, but get a qualified instructor to show you the swing technique before you use them alone.
