Skinny alternative for breadcrumbs?

Love making chicken parm but 120 cals for just a 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs seems pretty steep. Any ideas?

That sounds unreasonably high for 1/4 cup.......maybe the brand you use is laden with oil. If I don't make my own fresh bread crumbs I use panko and has about 50 calories for 1/4 cup......but that covers lots of food, much more than I would eat in 1 sitting.

Pork rinds in a food processor. But that's more for carbs, not calories. Calories would be around the same. 120 calories isn't unreasonable. It's condensed bread, and bread is high in calories. Panko is the same nutritionally. You could try a little flax seed. What are you using it for?

We like Pine Nuts. Adds nice flavor as well.

    A smaller amount of breadcrumbs
Homemade breadcrumbs, with lower calorie bread
Use the breadcrumbs you have, go for a long walk after dinner

A modified chicken parm - we use spaghetti squash as noodles too!

Probably not using all of the bread crumbs; only a small amount ends up on the chicken. I'd weigh the bowl before and after to get an accurate log of how much you used on the chicken.
