Mom wouldnt let me get a drink on my birthday

Today is my birthday and usually we go out to eat and I get a fancy drink with dinner every year but for some reason this year my mom wouldnt let me get a fancy drink!! WTH???? I have gotten one every year for the past 10 years why is this time any different?? I am so upset my birthday is ruined its the mist important part of my birthday and I didnt get it for some reason like I didnt do anything wrong, I dont know why this is happening?

    If drinking is the most important part of your birthday,and it's "ruined" because you can't drink, I feel sorry for you. Seriously. You need to ask yourself why drinking is so important to you. And if you actually ARE 27, for god's sake don't be so whiny.

    You know sugar, in 19 and 99, when I turned 21, most of that year was a blur. And forget 2000. Come to think of it, I don't think from 1999 to about 2005 we (meaning me and my best friends) spent sober a whole hell of a lot. So, yeah, unless your momma is Joan Crawford, why in the hell are you worried about mommy dearest buying your birthday drink? Go out with your friends, get lit like a roman candle like everyone else, and enjoy life.

    If we are pointing out everything wrong with this troll thread then.. If you are 27 there is no way you could have got a fancy alcohol drink for the past 10 years if you are at a restaurant on your birthday... Cant drink at 17.. against the law.
