Hi I'm new

Hi everyone, I'm new to the webpage but have been using the app on my phone for awhile. I am trying again at trying to lose weigh for myself. I have tried saying goodbye to a lot of carbs in hope that will help my body. I have also started to eat fresh food/veg. I was looking at the online help diet programs. Has anyone used any and are they worth the money?? I am hopeful that at the end of the week i will not feel as depressed about giving up my fav foods. anyway Hi

    Hey mate,

Another Aussie here. I've been using MFP pretty religiously for 8 months now, and love it. I genuinely believe that it was the friendship, support and knowledge of the massive butt kicking I'd get from my MFP mates if I really went off track that kept me from fully derailing when I got sick this winter, so I encourage you to take advantage of the amazing folk on here. If anyone is negative to you, just delete them - there are a few trolls on here, but 99.9% of us are pretty cool people just wanting to get healthy. I'm using a non-internet diet program called bodytrim, but sticking within my calories as well. The biggest thing I can tell you is: exercise. For me, at least, I don't lose if I'm not exercising - even when I'm well within my calories, I won't lose. And don't worry, you get used to not eating all the junk! Eventually, you start craving good, whole foods. Om nom nom. Good luck, my dear!! xx

Hey, I am in the same boat really, i started using my fitness pal and decided to lose weight about a year ago and after 3 months i got bored, lost motivation and slowly became lazier. Now i am firing up MFP once again and attempting to lose weight again, mainly for my health because im classed as obese and need to lose just over 40 kilo to be at a healthy weight. I want to have a family and have weight on you can impact on your fertility and i want to healthy for when the time comes to being pregnant. I absolutely love junk food! i can admit i have an addiction to it and crave it every day, its hard because eating something i love is potentially putting me into an early grave. Its my first week in to my second attempt and i am struggling to get over that hump of cutting all the bad foods out. btw also an aussie :)
