STUCK

Hello everyone!

So, here I am again. My goal weight is 140 and I seem to hover at 156. I have gotten down to 150 but it seems I just stop there. Suggestions? I got to 150 by running 3 times a week and counting calories. I naturally cut out most junk with the exception of the occasional 1/2 cup of frozen yogurt or couple hershey kisses that just satisfy the cravings for sugar without killing my calorie budget. It seems that if I slack, even for a week, I'm up 4-5 lbs. I'm frustrated and while I don't want to give up, it seems pointless. My schedule does not allow for gym time or tons of workout time. the 3 times a week were a stretch but I did it because I wanted to take care of myself. Any metabolism boost suggestions? Anything? I've tried cleanses to jump start, changing up my diet and the way I eat to see if I can jump start it and it's to no avail. I would appreciate any help or ideas! I still want to make this happen! Having come down from 189lbs...I know it can happen. Than kyou everyone!

Opening your diary could really help us to get an idea of what you're already doing and what you might need to change.

Without details, I'll ask if you're using a food scale yet.

Are you logging everything you eat, including things like condiments, cooking oils, and cheat days?

Have you recalculated your goals since losing weight?

Are you eating back your earned exercise calories? If so, are you relying on MFP/gym machine estimates or a heart rate monitor? And what kind of activity are you doing?

Is your goal just the number on the scale, or are you also working towards a body-recomp?

you might need to change up the type of workouts you are doing. Try doing some strength training instead of cardio. Are you drinking enough water? I wouldnt automatically assume you need to eat less you might need to eat more. What is your daily calorie goal?
