Thanks for the add! I can totally relate to your dilemma. I read some of the postings on your wall and I am having the same issues. So afraid of gaining, that I am still undereating somewhat. What I am going to try and do is stay within a range. When I am at the top of the range, I tighten it up, when I am at the bottom, I splurge more. I am trying to focus more on weight training, exercising and eating more protein and better quality foods. I love that you listen to your Momma, and Congrats on being healthy and reaching your goal!!

I came across this article which I found insightful.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/irene-rubaumkeller-/weight-loss-maintenance-_b_3893827.html

The author talks about "gaining weight successfully" or that maintenance is about gaining and losing. I too use a range goal so that a few pounds will not freak me out.

Yep, me too - 129-135 - with a preference of 131/132. 6 month maintaining anni. (I was only heavy for 4 years while I was sick - previously was at my healthy weight). Add me if you like - I am gluten free by medical necessity, and try to keep it to moderate carbs (between 100-150g net after fibre) - not concerned about the fat. I won't preach about the carbs if you don't preach about the (whatever works for you). :drinker:

ETA: I didn't join MFP until maintenance so my ticker is kinda my range weight.
