27th Birthday Celebration...need help?

Hey guys! So I'm turning 27 this month and my girlfriend is coming down for the celebration which is going to be on the 27th. I have a group of friends who are coming out with me that night to go to dinner at Olive Garden. Following Olive Garden, we're going to my favorite bar that has a DJ who starts spinning at 11pm (and they have amazing drinks). After I get tired of dancing - and my feet hurt - my girlfriend and I are heading back to a hotel room I reserved.

The hotel room is a king bed jacuzzi suite. Here's where I need help. I want to make the night as special as possible in every single aspect. I bought silk rose petals that I will scatter around the hotel room, on the bed and around the jacuzzi. Also bought battery operated tealight candles to put into little clear glasses and scatter around the room and around the jacuzzi. I plan on buying Riesling wine (our favorite) and strawberries.

I'm wondering...am I missing anything? I have a couple of gifts to give to her (her birthday is the week after mine) and I'm also buying a corset set to wear under my dress. What would make YOUR night a night to remember?

Thank you in advance!

They have surprisingly decent steak. At least the one time I ate the steak there, it was decent.

    Music!

And if Olive Garden is your favorite, cool.

Birthdays are for indulgences in my opinion- trying out the fun martini bar or a great restaurant for appetizers and dessert. But visiting a favorite is more important.

Make sure you have a huge "Do Not Bother" sign for the door.

If there is a bar ib the hotel.
Drop by early clue the bartender/staff in on some details and have them surprise her with some of your gifts, fave song or just a big shout out.

    Have fun!

But it's YOUR birthday and you're pulling out all the stops. I hope you get as much out of it as you're putting into it.

We won't be in the hotel room all day until the night-time and I'm not allowed to have any open flames in the hotel. That's their policy lol. I wish I could go with real candles.

Her birthday is the week after mine. She lives 3 hours away so we don't really get to see each other that much because of the amount we both work. So I like to go all out when we see each other. Last time she was around, she spoiled me, this time I want to do the same for her.

I'm just amazed a 27 year old knows what a "record" is and found a DJ that still "spins" them...

Yeah...I never mentioned the word "record", and that's what it's referred to here in New York. When a DJ performs, he "spins". :flowerforyou:

So because I'm 26 years old I've never hung up a phone or rolled down a window? Hm, gotcha. I also didn't grow up with vinyl records either. I also don't listen to oldies, and I also have never watched an old movie in my life right?

No. According to your standards, all I listen to is the typical Justin Bieber crap that society tries to shove down our throats.

Very judgmental there buddy. I'll pray for you.

You have to deactivate to properly pray for someone. It is known.
