the most insane reason someone has ever broken up with you
So I'm a full time dad, work 8 hrs a day, go to college at night full time 6 hrs 4 days a week, get up early before work to hit the gym and still spend the weekends and at least one night a week with my girlfriend of almost a year. She doesn't workout. She tells me last night its her or the gym..... well since I go to the gym before she gets up I don't see the issue especially when normally I leave from my house.... soooooo I'm going to have to go with the gym, mainly because this is just stupid. So what stupidity did someone use to break up with you?

I was cutting into his video game time by coming over to cook dinner for him and have sex...yep mixed priorities I'd say but when he came back a year later saying he made a mistake, just like she will, I said no thanks.0

Any person that gives you an ultimatum where you have to choose between something that you enjoy and them (within reason) isn't worth bothering with. I could understand if she was saying it's the "porn, strip clubs, etc" or me, but something that doesn't even affect her because you do it when she's asleep...that screams insecure.
Strangely enough, I've never been dumped :-/0 -
Because I didn't get jealous. For real.

I've only been broken up with once (I've almost always been the one to call things off) but the time it happened, I think I wasn't enough of a hipster for him? He was always on me about how I should grow my bangs out longer and cut the rest of my hair short, and I wasn't into obscure hipster pop music and anime like he was... It was weird.0

because i didn't turn out the way he wanted me to be0

Hmmm...I've only been dumped once, and it's because I was a rebound and he went back to his ex. Aside of that, I didn't date much in high school and I've been with my husband since I was 21. I'm pretty sure if I had dated more, I'd have been dumped more.0

I dated a guy in my early 20's who needed serious prompts from me to make any sort of move like asking me out, kissing, etc. We had known each other for a long time and he would send me really amorous emails but was so shy irl. He was a 25 yr old guy who had been married before so it wasn't like he was a scared child.
Anyway, after dating for 2-3 months he disappeared completely for about a week right around the holidays and of course I pretty much wrote him off...but when we spoke again he kept crying and said that he had started dating another girl. His reason..."I met her at my brother's Christmas party and she held my hand that SAME night". Wow. Hand holding!! Must be true love ;-D LOL.
He wound up marrying her, having 4 children, and then a nasty court battle while he was having the kids taken away from her due to her drug use. He contacted me (married by then) on MySpace to see if we could try again. Uh. No.0 -

I have a friend with this issue. Still dates like she is in high school. In her mind if a guy dont get jealous then he is not into her. I've tried to break her from this habit but fail every time....but hey I tried.0 -
He didn't give a reason. He wrote a letter. It's more the date then the reason why.
Dear ****
Through much prayer and discussion, I have come to a decision. I cannot marry you.......(more of letter that I don't remember what is said).................... I will always love you.
Love,
*************
Date letter arrived? February 14 BTW: He did NOT discuss it with me. He discussed with mutual friends.
A little over a month later I flew back to my college I had graduated from (I was in another city in the same state teaching, he still had a year left in college where we met). I had already bought the ticket and wasn't wasting my money. I avoided him for two days and then went up to him and demanded we talk. After setting a date and time I left to go meet up with the friends I was visiting with for the week. One of his friends came up to me and said he didn't know what I wanted to talk about!!!! Seriously?????!!!! First time I have seen him or talked to him since he broke up with me in a letter NOT giving me a reason and he didn't know what I wanted to talk about?????
He said communication. I disagreed. I think he got cold feet a few months early and wasn't ready for marriage.0 -

That's just a way of saying it's really something else but they don't want to tell you what it really is and possibly cause a scene, or hurt your feelings or both.
He probably met another girl.0
