How much does being over my fat and sugar allowance affect me, if I'm under my calorie allowance? How much does it affect my weight loss?

It depends on what u ate.. If u ate fruit then ur overage of sugar should be ok cuz its natural sugars but if u ate say chocolate or something thats not so good..

Im more concerned about the sugars... Because I've been making a valiant effort to avoid sugars but I too seem to be over even when I'm under my calories...

If your sugars have come primarily from fruit and veg ( ie natural sources) I would be less worried. If they came from other sources ( refined sugars in tea, coffee or in processed foods) I would be more concerned.

Sugars in fruit and veg are less bad, as the body actually has to do work to get them. Sugars are also more likely to be used directly as energy (unless you are significantly over)

I would be more concerned about the fats, as these will be stored as fats, and can do other damages (fats are high calorie items as well).

For information in my diet I am often over on my sugars by a couple maybe 20 gm each day ie 42 goal vs actual 68gm (I have no processed foods or refined sugars), but I am always 30 to 40 gms under my fat ie goal 79 vs 28 actual. This is on a 1300 calorie or so.

I believe that my lower fat content and no refined sugars has helped me lose almost 40lb, and my other half has lost over 100lb
