I have put a weight loss limit on a game I want to buy and have set other goals of things I want based on what food I won't be buying with my new diet. I am buying The Sims 4 when I get to 140lbs. I am DYING for this game more than you know so it is totally killing me. Does anyone else do this?

I do not! I did buy a dress that was a size too small and on clearance-super-ultra-sale because I knew I would never get the chance to buy it otherwise. It fits me now!!
And. . . I'll be buying the Sims4 just because. To deprive onself of the newest method of simming is pure crazy. You're a very brave person and that is some heavy motivation!! Have you downloaded the create-a-sim demo? super nifty!0 -
I did use the demo and have been torturing myself by watching video's people are posting of the new game play. The build mode is awesome and there are so many fun recipes I can't wait. The Sims 4 is my first motivation tool my next is a new tablet. With all the money I am saving by eating less food and cutting alcohol I will be able to afford it when I get to my goals.0

Yep I've done this with Bath and Body Works candles.
I also once denied myself of getting my eyebrows done until I got to a certain weight haha. I had these fuzzy caterpillars on my face for months...0 -
I totally do this! For every five pounds I lose, the value of the prize goes up a little bit0

I am a HUGE Buckle fanatic! So, when I get down to my ideal goal, I am going to Buckle on a shopping spree....OK, a very small shopping spree, because as most people know..THEY ARE SUPER EXPENSIVE. But I have my eye on 2 pairs of darling Rock Revivals!!!0

Yes! Big Star makes my butt look Amazing! I have 2 pairs and I want (need?) more! They are too expensive to buy in a size I have no intention of staying in so once I get back down to a 25" waist I'm hitting up a buckle and buying more of them0 -

Sure, it is fun to reward yourself for all the effort that goes into losing weight.
On a side note, why is Sims4 so freaking expensive?? EA is really raking over their customers with this one. It should not be a $70.00 game, 50.00 tops. I will be waiting to buy it when it drops in price a bit. That is what I did with SimCIty.
Good Luck, I hope you reach your goal!!0 -
Well, my birthday is on October 6th, so if I reach 130lbs by that time, which I hope to do, i plan on rewarding myself with new makeup/skin care stuff and a facial. When I reach 120lbs, new clothes (especially this one coat I am dying to where) i think little prizes for motivation are great ideas0
