If insanity didnt work for me will focus t25 will?

A year ago when I started my journey I decided to get insanity, while I loved the workouts as hard and grueling they were, they made me feel so good about myself. But the results were absolutely baffling and disappointing. The first round I did with insanity I lost a ton a inches but the weight loss didnt really happen until after I stopped doing the program. But the weight I wanted to lose just didnt happen and neither did that transformation, so I quit the second to last week. Then once I lost another 10lbs I decided to pick it back up again, at the time I was around 163lbs, well that was a big mistake The weight loss I was having completely stalled, I literally stayed the same weight throughout the entire program. My boyfriend was even mind bottled, he couldn't figure out why my body wouldnt just let go of the weight and neither could I, I was so upset and angry I decided to just get rid of the program once and for all. Many people would say I wasnt eating enough, but I was counting calories and wasnt starving at all, I was making sure I had my carbs, protein and fat in each meal. It was just ridiculous. It was like my body just shuts down with that type of long intensity. So I am thinking t25 will be a better bet since it is only 25 minutes a day. Im thinking of giving that a try. Is this a good idea or is high intensity programs just not for me. Has anyone done t25 with weightloss results?

Workouts are not the driving force of weight loss, that's all about diet. Workouts simply burn calories. You must ensure you eat less per day then you burn. Taking a look at your diary 2 things stand out. One, your logging is inconsistent. There were many days that seemed incomplete and many days that simply had no logging. The days that did include logging used things like cup's or tbsp. You need to be weighing all your food on a scale for accuracy.
I saw on one day you ate Purdue simply smart chicken nuggets. I eat those frequently. If you go by weight rather then number of nuggets, you'd learn that a serving size is actually 4 nuggets, not 5. You will find similar inaccuracies with more and more products when you start weighing things. Little inconsistencies like that add up over time. These are the things that are preventing weight loss, not t25 vs insanity. Cardio is cardio whether you do one of these programs or simply run, bike or walk. It's calories consumed vs calories burned...0 -
The best part of T25 is that every move has a modification so it can definitely be more beginner friendly. It was the first program I used when I was overweight and I did great with it. Also the pace is very quick so you're done before you know it which is very nice too.0

Seriously though, what vismal said^0 -
Oh your absolutely right I'm completely aware of that. My question was more leaning toward which workouts did people perfer and my experience with insanity.0

The point is that it shouldn't be the workout that is to be blamed for your lack of progress. I wonder if the workouts made you more hungry and you ate extra without realizing it.0

I'm in block 3 of p90x3, and for the first month I was so hungry all the time. I didn't lose a pound, b/c I was eating a ton. I didn't mind, b/c I was trying to get used to the work outs, and I had been eating at a deficit for almost a year, and I wanted to focus on just fitness for a while.
Towards the end of block two, I dropped like 5 pounds in a week. It was crazy.
I know you say your question is which work out is best, but the answer is: it doesn't matter, if you aren't at a deficit.0
