I am
5'5
235lbs
I was thinking of taking the Atkins approach however cannot figure out how many calories to consume daily to match the efforts put in through the carb counting.
1. Do you have advice?
2. Do any of you on here use Atkins approach and manage food details on here.

Um, they aren't exclusive of each other and you don't count your calories differently. If you are adhering to Adkins (or paleo or whatever) you enter your food just like anyone else. You may want to adjust your macros to be under certain percentages for carbs to adhere to your adkins diet but that's not necessary.0

Forget atkins, it's too complicated and avoiding stuff sucks. Stay on this site, read some stuff and follow along.0

I gained all my weight back at a moderate pace as soon as I went off the diet. Limiting Carbs isn't a bad idea but oliminating them...idk it didn't work in the long run for me. Counting calories has worked wonders though. Counting carbs helps but 25 is drastic. Fruit and Vegetables are good for you. Just my experience. Good Luck0
