i'm just learning about it as well. I have been requesting it in my smoothies instead of soy protein.0

Yes, right after your workout! Any other time it's best to eat real food when you can.0

I put it in my morning smoothies. I use the Biochem brand as it was recommended in a nutrition class I took through Nutritional Weight and Welness (www.weightandwelness.com).0

The beauty of whey protein is that it's the fastest digesting protein available. That's why it's optimal after a workout; to help repair muscle. Some use it to get in some extra protein in their diet. But, in those cases, you don't really need to use whey (unless you want to); you could use soy or whatever you like. Because you don't need the "fast" protein at any other time.0
