For those who care, here is how the home made chili I made last night turned out.

• 207 cals per serving
• 6.1g of fat
• 18.91g of lean beef and turkey ground protein

Basic ingredients:

• 2.25lbs ground 93% beef
• 1lbs ground 93% turkey
• 1 can pinto beans
• 1 can kidney beans
• 6 cups water
• 2 cans 8oz tomato sauce no salt
• 4oz diced red onions
• 2oz diced green onions
• 8oz diced tomato fresh
• 1 can Green Giant Corn Nibblets
• 1 tablespoon cayenne red pepper
• 2 table spoons Tony Chacherous seasoning salt
• Mixed combinations of chili seasoning (enough for 3 pounds beef)
• 2 tablespoons French’s mustard
• 3 tablespoons reduced sugar ketchup
• 1 tablespoon oregano

Makes 19 large ladle (6 ounce) servings. I placed half a serving over a plain baked potato with non-fat shredded cheese for a low calorie meal. Today I had it with a premade fresh salad for another under 500 cal meal. Anyways, maybe someone else out there will want to give it a try, I hope you like it.

NOM! What is this Tony C's seasoning? We don't have that here. Is it an all-purpose seasoning? Is it spicy? I'm wondering if the Ted's that I can get locally will do the trick.

How "hearty" is this chili? My hubby likes it to be pretty thick, and so do I, so I'm wondering if I should cut down on the water.
