Is running 3 miles a day good?

I've found that I really enjoy running. It's very rewarding when I'm done. I used to run 1.5 miles a day, but I was bored today and I ran another 1.5. I'd like to start doing this more often. Running 3 miles all together, not in parts.
Do you think this is a nice amount?

From a purely time-management perspective, I find anything less than an hour/ 6+ish miles to be a waste of ***MY*** time. For ME, if I'm only going to do 3miles, I'm better off walking.0

it all depends on your goals. But if you like it do it. I run most days the distances and routes vary depending on how I'm feeling and the amount of time I have. Variation is good though and will improve your running more than doing exactly the same thing every day. Just enjoy it thoughI've found that I really enjoy running. It's very rewarding when I'm done.
