The old mantra was to take it post workout because your body depletes its reserves while lifting.

But I haven't studied the issue in many years, so /shrug
  • right now i am mixing it with my pre workout. Not sure if post workout might be better

I take it post, but I don't believe it really makes a difference...

It does not matter. Just take it daily - it is not a pre/post workout and has a long'ish half life.

I take a supplement called gp3 evo that has creatine (and amino acids) in it and I take it 30 mins before training and right after training.

It doesn't matter. Take it everyday whether you workout or not. You are trying to build up the amount of creatine in your body. Timing is irrelevant.

    Yes.

    It also isn't magic, FYI.

I take it whenever i remember to during the day. Thanks for reminding me. I think consistently taking it every day is more important than when you take it.

there's pros and cons to both. ultimately it wont make much differnce.

personally don't think creatine makes much difference either.

I think you will hear from many that will recommend all 3 .... I personally take it pre and post, but have friends that work out later in evenings that swear by taking before and then following up with a serving of slow metabolizing protein like chicken or turkey... I am not sure it makes much difference either way.
