Happy Tuesday, everyone! What's in store for you today?

Me, exercise in the morning, then a few hours of sending out queries and booking, then a rehearsal tonight. It's gonna be a great day here in Indianapolis!

I actually woke up hungry this morning which is rare for me since I had a gastric bypass last year. What that means is that I did not take in enough food yesterday. Since I was not feeling well that does not surprise me. The good thing is though once I eat breakfast ans satisfy this hunger pain I won't be hungry again for another 10 or so hours. However I will eat a small meal at lunch and at dinner and also take in a snack since it is so important for my body to have a regular routine since this operation.

As for my day I plan to help my church prepare and serve a meal to the homeless in my hometown. Since it is towards the end of the month we will probably serve around 125 people. It is very rewarding to me to be able to do God's work in this way. As I look at the faces of the people we serve I begin to count my blessings that I have had in this life and send up silent prayers that in some way I have helped someone and that possibly their plight will be lessened. It is also food for thought that I became overweight in life because I have always had food resources and it helps me remember that everyone in this life is not so lucky. On that thought train it helps me think twice before I "shovel" food in my mouth that I don't even need.

Now on a cheerier note. I plan to go to the gym tonight with my daughter and "burn" some of these excess calories off.

There is a possibility for snow today in my area. Not a lot of accumalation expected though. This has been a cold winter here in Virginia and we have seen more snow this year than in the last 20.

Hope everyone here has a blessed day.

You're going to rock this Tuesday, I know you are!

I'm at work again until 4:45 tonight, then the drive home. Tonight's workout is going to be yoga (again!) and maaaybe cardio. It's Power Yoga, so it's cardio, too, but I feel like pushing myself more. My life is uneventful, haha.

I'm REALLY looking forward to tomorrow, though. Dinner out with my work team, and it's 1/2 price sushi until 7 at Kona Grill.
  • I’m leaving for the gym this a.m for an hour or so. Then the rest of the day is MINE (day off weeeeeee). It is – 36 down here in Moncton NB( very very COLD) :ohwell: so it’s NICE to have the day off:bigsmile: . Enjoy your day MFP.:flowerforyou:

    Cheers

Today is W5D3 of Couch to 5k, and I'm scheduled to run 20 minutes straight. Since I've already done that, I'm aiming for at least 24 minutes, which will be 2 miles at my slow-poke 5mph pace. And it's day two of my EA Active Sports 9 week program, so I'll be doing that today, too.

I will NOT be going to the grocery store. Tuesday is Senior's Discount Day, so it's always crazy crowded, plus we're expecting snow tomorrow, so everyone in the valley will suddenly realize they need bread, milk and eggs. Apparently, snow makes people crave French Toast.

I still have about half of the Red Velvet Diet Dr Pepper cake leftover from the double birthday party we had this weekend for my husband and father in law, so I want to budget my calories and exercise that I can have a nice sized chunk of that.

In fact... I'll have it for breakfast, then I'll be sure to work it off!

My funfilled day began at 5:00 a.m. makin sure hubby took all his meds for the bronchial infection that is keeping him home from work - then off to drive Grandson to his mommy's and his father to work and then MYSELF to work. by 6:30 I have driven 50 miles every weekday a.m. . . and I work a BLOCK from home - sigh.

I then get to use my precious vacation time to run my son to the courthouse for his final mediation regarding his son. Another 50 mile drive. I am going to try to sneak in my dart teams registration for a dart tournament this weekend, at least I will feel like a tiny bit of my day's running is for ME then!!

Then home to make supper - may attempt to pencil in numbers on the tax forms this evening - see how much more Uncle Sam is going to squeeze out of us this year...that should be good for a emotional melt down that will want food...darn kid brought home a pan of Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Bars yesterday - . . - I swear it is a plot to try to kill me!

I will collapse into my snuggy bed with thick quilts and coughing husband about 7:00 p.m...

    hmm what is missing here? Oh YEAH - EXCERSIZE - - - - - - -

Have a great day in Indiana - It's a cold one here in WI and my energy level is low.:grumble:

Today I managed to drag myself from bed. I'm quite proud of that fact as I am SO sore from kickboxing yesterday...good news is when I finished, I wasn't quite as dead-dog tired as I have been being! In store for me today is mostly housecleaning, laundry...the usual. =)
