OMG I am so embarassed!!
Well, I was just in a shop and i dropped my change on the floor, when i bent down to pick it up, my trousers split right up the back!!! It wouldn't have been quite so bad if my trousers and underwear were the same colour, but no it had to hapen on the day i choose to wear black trousers and my biggest most comfy RED Knickers!!!! The shame, Think i am going to lock myself away now and not come out until desired weight has been acheived!! :frown:

It is embarassig but we've all been there so despite your pain, I did get a chuckle this morning and laughter is always a good way to start the day. So look at it this way - you did something good for someone else.
Hang in there!0 -
OMG i really feel for you that must have been sooooooooooo bad0

Being at your desired weight does not guarantee you will not happen embarrassing moments in your life. It is good you can
laugh at yourself and not take it all too seriously. Sometimes we worry what people will think of us , when usually people are too absorbed in themselves to even think about us in any serious way. Enjoy life now, don't wait until the " desired weight' comes along. Keep your focus on your today. God Bless.0 -
Oh that is embarassing! I'm sorry to hear that. Honestly though...try not to take it too hard. Try to just laugh at it...it can happen to skinny people too!!! It has nothing to do with your weight...it was just pants with a seam that was not sewen that strongly, and the bending action just caused them to give.0

Its awful.....i've had it happen to me too. I'm sorry to say I chuckled over your post, but I did.
I remember when I did it ...... I was out around Christmas-time a good few years ago with a friend of mine. We had had a couple drinks and were going to get a chinese takeaway as a treat....then my friend (who is tipsy by now) sees some cute guy walking up the street. Next thing, she is drunkenly running after him to get a closer look and I took off after her - managed to grab her and drag her into the chinese place. I got her to sit down and I was stood at the counter with my back to the window, ordering the food. Next thing she is grabbing me and telling me to sit down while we wait for the food - really INSISTANT that I sit, not stand. Next thing she tells me is that the entire right hand side of the bum-cheek of my trousers (brown fancy combats that were only a week old and cost £35!) had split open...to show an old greying pair of what were once black briefs. I had to call my mum to come collect us because we were going to walk home! I must have split them when running after her...and exposed my backside the the traffic and anyone else going by.... How shaming! LOL!0 -
I'm laughing, but I shouldn't... I was in the same position last November when I started dieting. My mom and I were out one Saturday shopping and I went to get back into the car and my jeans split right up the *kitten*! We ended up finishing up at a few stores with my jacket tied around my waste. Then, we rushed over to Wal-mart to buy a new pair (we had other places we still needed to visit)... putting them on in the fitting room. We had to tell the fitting room lady AND the checkout lady what happened. It was horrible!

You think thats bad....i went down a water slide on holiday in Italy once (on my front, stupidly) and when i stood up my entire bikini was round my ankles. Old men everywhere were driopping their cigars, mothers were covering their childrens eyes.

I had that happen at work at a vet's office. It was Halloween, and I was dressed as a pirate in vintage purple velvet knee-length britches. Bent down to pick up a dog and ... Rrrrrrrriiiiippppp! And hand to stand there holding the dog on the exam table, with my ripped pants, because he was very wiggly and needed to have blood drawn.
I ended up in the bathroom literally SUTURING my pants.
And the bathroom was in the waiting room.0 -
OMG Dont feel bad I went tubing a few years abo, Well I had on a tankini and I guess from being drug around on my belly on the tube it pulled my bottoms off, sad part was I didnt dare let go of the tube to grab them so there I go flying thru the water bottomless!!!

TMI. How am I going to erase that visual from my mind !!??!?!0 -
That totally happened to be when I was 15 and weighed all of 110 pounds. It was during the "girls-wear-tight-pants-and-oversized-baggy-shirts" stage that the 90's went through and I was wearing black silk underwear under my jeans with big red hearts all over them. That was rad. Thankfully it was also during the "show-your-butt-cheek-to-the-world-through-a-hole-in-your-jeans" era so at least I fit in! LOL.0
