I spent all of last week trying to come up with a meal plan for this week and organizing it all out. Then I spent part of yesterday grocery shopping for the items I needed for my meal plan ( I kept the grocery bill under $200). And now I just got finished prepping everything for the rest of the week. I am tired and glad I am finished I can't wait to see how this week goes. I hate calorie counting so I portioned out my meals instead. It will be nice to not have to worry about whether or not I've had enough calories or too many for the day. What ever I have made I can eat!!  :glasses:

this is what I started doing weeks ago. I keep a running list by my table and write in it recipe ideas or food ideas I see on the net or a commercial then on Fridays I compose a shopping list after doing a quick inventory of what I already have in my pantry/fridge/freezer to make six dinners. two breakfasts(sat and sun) and six days of lunches. I don't do seven because that is our "wild card" day and it may be going out to eat or some deli chicken or whatever we feel like it day. I am telling you that we eat better and save way more money now than ever before. This weeks meals are:
Saturday - Thursday Dinners
1. steak tacos(with broth), tortilla chips
2. garlic glazed chicken and potatoe wedges
3. tortelini, brocoli chicken alfredo
4. sesame chicken, stif fry vegies
5. philly cheese steak, tater tots
6. BBQ pork chop, baked potatoe, green beans0 -
