    Plain grilled cheese is awful. But throw some ham and tomato slices in there, and it gets great.

    Horrible mouthfeel. Hence the tomato slices - the acid takes away the wallpaper paste feel. I cant eat a cheese omelette without a couple tomato slices in it either ..

    What is grilled cheese to me is not grilled cheese to everyone. That's how I grew up eatin' it! ;] But I guess if people like they can call it a fancy grilled cheese! :laugh:
