MapMyFitness Enters Moderate Walks as Walking Dog

Any time I walk more than 3 mph using MapMyFitness it gets entered into MFP as "Walking, 3.0 mph, mod. pace, walking dog"

This is true even when my walk involves zero dogs.

Is there a way to fix this?

I don't know that there is...seems like it's just a label, so that if people are guessing about what pace they walk they can judge by the descriptor.

You definitely gave me a laugh today. I can't help to think that I would say something like this about my husband too in a kidding matter of course. lol Too funny!

It's just a point of comparison, not meant to reflect what you were doing. As in that's a pace similar to if you were just walking a dog.
