In need of some motivation!!
For the past 2 weeks I have been following all the Fitnesspal guidelines, had my 1200 calories a day, and been to the gym 3 times a week.
However, I have only lost 1 pound?????

Am I doing something wrong??
Any good ideas on how to get my diet a kick start???

Are you drinking 8 glasses a day? Also are you under your sodium, sugar, fat and carb goals?

Your body has gotten used to your routine. Change SOMETHING. Eat tiny meals, every 3 hours to keep your metabolism going. Or kick it up a notch at the gym. Try to eat less carbs/sugar.

i've heard that sometime it can take a few weeks for result to show. maybe you've put on muscle but have lost alot of fat. have you measured yourself?

Have you been measuring yourself? (could be gaining muscle but still losing fat)
Have you been eating high sodium foods? (could be retaining water)
Are you measuring quantities of foods? (estimating amounts could mean you are underestimating cals)
Are you logging in all the 'extras' like oil, butter, salad dressing etc? (these add up)
Are you overestimating exercise calories? (Some gym equipment overestimates my calorie burn, so as a general rule i minus 15% from the overall calorie burn. Although a heart rate monitor is best)
Are you eating too few calories? (Eating under 1,200 on a long term basis can cause your body to hold onto fat)

If you're doing all of the above right, i wouldn't worry. Last week i lost 0 pounds, even though i was logging correctly, exercising, reaching the right number of cals etc. Turned out i had lost inches :) So keep powering through!
