Thoughts on working out while sick? I have a head cold, but I feel good from the neck down. Is the consensus to rest because working out adversely effects my recovery time? Or can I work out because the two aren't related?
I would obviously work out away from people as to not share my cooties...
Thanks All!

I exercise with a head cold if I feel up to it.....I read years ago that if you are fine from the chest down to go for it! I just go a bit easier and make sure I drink plenty of fluids!0

I just worked out through a cold, didn't slow down my recovery. If you have a fever, no, but if you're only sick from the base of the neck up, you're fine to do a light workout.0
