ha! I have no desire to ever do that. Or have my child do it... or for it to exist at all really. I was just using the opportunity to share a Todrick Hall link since he has a song called Twerking in the Rain.... which I find horrifying and I am embarrassed for him actually... but twerking aside he is talented.0 -

Excellent idea - I'll add it to my stronglifts routine. I'm thinking after deadlifts - as that's when I feel most like a badass. I'm gonna be unloading the bar and using that energy to twerk outta that gym from now on.
Ok maybe not at the gym - but is it wrong that I'm now considering trying to twerk (in the privacy of my own home) and check out how good / bad my *kitten* looks in the mirror. I'm even thinking of using this as a new measurement of progress!0 -

You actually don't activate your glutes while twerking. It works your abs/core. Just trust me on this... Ok?0 -
it's more low back- and some abs.
It's hard on your back- it only works your glutes b/c you have to be in a squat/half squat/bent knee position (no glute work if you're twerking upside down on the walls)
It's good for low back- and your sex life. LOL
I don't do enough back work- so I twerk between sets to get my heart rate up AND my low back.0
