Cherry phosphates at the local drug store lunch counter. If I had extra money, I would either order a cherry ice cream soda (cherry phosphate with a couple of scoops of ice cream) or a chocolate milkshake made with milk, chocolate syrup, and real ice cream and so thick you had to take your time pouring it out of the metal container into your glass.

Apple Juice. Real apple juice (not a juice drink) was a delicacy for me. We could not afford to buy it, but every time we flew to visit my grandparents I would ask for it on the plane. I still think it's the best juice ever! Only real and only no sugar added.

It was a lemon lime drink when I was young. I believe it is still around, but discontinued in North America a couple of decades ago.

Yummy! Every fall we would head out to the apple orchard outside of town and pick up a couple half bushels. Mom would always buy a 1/2 gallon of fresh pressed cider as a treat. Cold, naturally sweet cider, mmmmmmmmmmm

Formerly known as Minisips. They were the best part of trick or treating.
