    Yep... you can't imagine the abuse I heap on myself when I feel like bailing on a run....

    I can relate to that. Now I change that negative talk to wanting to get really really strong.

    oh yes...I have been a quitter all my life. About a month ago I set out to run 3 miles on the high school track. I laid out 12 stones to kick 1 aside on every lap. After about 1 mile I was ready to quit.
    I practically screamed in my own head..."DAMMIT, JUST ONCE FINISH WHAT YOU START OUT TO DO!!!"
    I did and was immensely proud of myself.
    I have been running (sometimes walking) almost every day since.

    I now notice I use more positive talk like I will be able to lift X amount of weight. It's way better then telling myself do you want to say fat and weak.
