Mumford Procedure....who has had it?

I'm having shoulder surgery done for a AC joint and Bone Spur and impinged bicep tendon next month. Ortho says i'll be able to move shoulder the next day and start therapy almost immediately. What's the healing time? How soon before you could actually 'use' the arm fully again? It's my right shoulder and I'm right handed so I'm concerned.

The obvious answer would appear to be "ask your surgeon". And the best source of updates once in recovery s/b your physical therapist(s)............0

and as someone who's had surgeries before I know the doctors aren't always right. Been working with PT on my shoulder since March. Wanted some opinions from people who actually had it done!0

My friend had this done. I can't remember how long it took him to recover but it wasn't long and he's doing great now. Good luck!0

I had a traumatic rotator cuff repair and they had to sew my bicep tendon to the bone. Also had cysts on AC joint and clavicle. 4 week recovery is now 4 months0
